Filmed by Eugene Cupps this short video clip shows Honeywell's Boeing 720 testbed N720 being broken up for scrap on Honeywell's Phoenix apron on Saturday, June 21, 2008. The actual demolition process lasted about 4 and a half hours on Saturday, with the subsequent removal of the broken up remains and engines and the clean-up being completed on Sunday morning. The replacement experimental aircraft, the Boeing 757, was moved back into position on the ramp around 1 pm on Sunday afternoon. This time lapse video shows the entire job from start to end condensed down to just a few minutes.

http://www.henrytenby.com/dvds/720crewdvd.html Honeywell's Phoenix-based Boeing 720 N720H has proven to be a reliable engine and avionics test bed for the past twenty years. In this 131 minute DVD, airline videographers Henry Tenby and Anthony J. Hickey and the 720 crew take you along for a complete cockpit crew recurrent training session on Honeywell's Boeing 720. This DVD is the most comprehensive live filming of the Boeing 720 ever produced since the maiden flight of the 720 flown by "Tex" Johnston at Renton on November 25, 1959. With three pro video cameras recording the action from the cabin, flight deck and exterior, you'll experience the unique sights and sounds of Honeywell's un-hushed stage I Boeing 720 as never before documented.

This is a rough edit 9 minute clip from the upcoming Honeywell Boeing 720 DVD being produced by AirlineHobby.com DVDs. In this clip we go from the pre-flight briefing, to the walk-around, to the flightdeck for engine start, taxi and take-off. This exact footage will not make it to the DVD. This is just some initial rough edit work so it can be shared with the kind folks from Honeywell who made this all happen! Filmed in Phoenix in early February, 2007, by Henry Tenby.
