This tv news clip shows a Global International Boeing 707 gear up landing which is quite spectacular. I do not know the date or airport but I suspect this footage dates from the early 1980s.

This brief clip details the crash of a BEA Trident at Stains, UK on June 18, 1972. A short clip of a BEA Trident on take-off is rare footage indeed.

It is unlikely that ths Video will mean much to you if you do not know the incredible story about this most famous of Vickers Aircraft, and famous aviation photographer and historian, the late Stephen Piercey, who published Propliner Magazine. This Viscount at Brooklands was named in memory of Stephen shortly after his death in an air accident, in 1984. Soon after this, the Viscount was retired and a team of enthusiasts lead by Ray Piercey (Stephen's father), raised funds to rescue and restore the Viscount and preserve her at the Brooklands Museum. This has now been done and on the fiftieth birthday of its first commercial flight, a group of friends visited Ray and his wife to celebrate. Its first flight had been London to Barcelona and the Capt. on that first flight had been Ray Piercey. Ray is also the father of the person it was named after, his Son Stephen.
