This video features an early Pan Am 707-300, with the taller vertical stab, and large sized ventral fin. Nice, up-close shots of the Pratt & Whitney JT4As looking very smart in natural, polished aluminim finish. Also an American Airlines 720B take-off sequence.

http://www.henrytenby.com/dvd.html http://www.AirlineTV.net Filmed by Henry Tenby, with special thanks to John Sessions of the Historical Flight Foundation for the invitation to fly on their Douglas DC-3 N877MG. This aircraft was recently restored back to fabulous like new condition. This video was filmed on the media flight at the Abbotsford Airshow, Friday August 8, 2014, which took us out over Harrison Lake, east of the Abbotsford airport. There were about a dozen media photogs on board. It was a terrific day for a flight on a DC-3! Towards the end of the video we do a high G turn before landing.

This aircraft PP-PEF was purchased from Pan Am on 11/13/63, and sold back to Pan Am on 9/9/65. She flew for the Brasilian carrier just long enough to make this movie! Gorgeous B&W cinematography, a classic jetliner with beautifully polished aluminum engine cowlings, and a pretty 1960s Stewardess.

One of only four DC-8s that flew for the carrier. A year after this was filmed, this aircraft was sold to Varig Air Lines. Great engine sounds. Watch for Connies too.

The vintage jet was a regular visitor to Exeter Airport, in the early 80's. Filmed by Richard Watts. Sorry for poor VHS quality and no tripod.
