http://www.henrytenby.com/DVDs/FlyingClassics.html In this day and age of boring, sterile, plastic air transports, the thrill of flying on vintage, classic airliners of the past is all but a fading memory. Once common airliner types like the BAC One Eleven, Airbus A300, Boeing 720, and even Boeing 737-200s and 727-100s have all but vanished from the skies. As an enthusiast, it is almost impossible to find commercial airlines still operating these types to savour a flight. Back in the 1990s, aviation videographer Henry Tenby had the foresight and enthusiasm to video document flights in these various commercial jetliners, so that they could be enjoyed and savoured by future generations of hard-core aviation fans. Most of the filming is from the passenger experience in the cabin and includes many engine starts, taxi, and of course and take-off and landing sequences. This 106 minute DVD is jam-packed with footage reliving the old days of flying on classic passenger jet transports. There is even some cockpit footage filmed on the L1011 and the Boeing 720, as well as flight attendant safety briefings and other interesting passenger views of an era that is now but gone.

Order this DVD here: http://henrytenby.com/DVDs/Bristol2dvd.html Picking up from where the part I DVD left off, in 1994, Paul Hakwins and his colleagues took over the Terrace-based Bristol Freighter operation from their defunct employer, Trans-Provincial Airlines. The majority Hawkair’s work involved hauling between Bronson Creek’s gravel airstrip and Wrangell in support of the Snipe Mine. In addition to Bronson Creek action, this DVD also includes very interesting footage from the Mule Creek job during the summer of 1995, Bristol Freighter TPA’s performance at the 1995 Terrace airshow, and Bristol Freighter DFC’s UK performance at Heathrow’s 50th anniversary flypast.

Order DVD here: http://henrytenby.com/DVDs/Bristol1dvd.html From 1989 until 1999, the wilds of Northwestern British Columbia was the setting for the worlds last working Bristol Freighter operation. Bristol Freighter Engineer Paul Hawkins had the good fortune of being able to extensively film Bristol Freighters C-FDFC and C-FTPA on the job with Terrace based Trans-Provincial Airlines. In this DVD, we get a first hand look at the rigours of working the fifty year old Bristols between their Bronson Creek base camp and Wrangell in harsh winter conditions that often defied man, muscle and machine.

http://www.henrytenby.com/DVDs/Fokkerdvd.html These wonderful films capture the pioneering age of Dutch commercial aviation when Anthony Fokker started producing Trimotor transports for the budding airlines of the day. The first part of this DVD presents archival black and white footage of the aircraft built by Fokker between the wars. In the mid-1950s, Fokker emerged as an industry leader developing the revolutionary and popular Fokker F27 turboprop regional airliner. The design of the Fokker F27 started in the early 1950s as a replacement for the successful DC-3 airliner. Fokker evaluated a number of different configurations before finally deciding on a high wing twin Rolls-Royce Dart engine layout with a pressurised cabin for 28 passengers. The first prototype, registered PH-NIV, first flew on 24 November 1955, and the roll out and first flight of this aircraft is presented in glorious colour on this DVD. Also featured on this DVD is an amazing colour film produced by Fokker in the late 1950s that demonstrates the amazing capabilities of the F-27.
