United Boeing 720-022 Sea-Tac take-off 1972. This was the same year United retired their fleet with many ending up in travel clubs, and one became Led Zeppelin's personal aircraft.

Lovely footage of a lovely first generation UAL DC-8 arriving in Hawaii. Watch for the C-124 Globemaster, and Pan Am 707 as well. Nice to HNL in the early 60s.

VISIT WWW.AIRLINETV.NET FOR MORE ABBOTSFORD VIDEOS The USAF BOeing B-52 has been a regular visitor to the Abbotsford Airshow for many decades. These fifty year old aircraft are powered by eight military versions of the JT3 engine, the same engine that powers the Boeing 707. Thus, the B-52 sounds like two Boeing 707s at the same time! Which is pure music to the ears .. as you will experience by watching this video with sound turned up!! Wait to the end of the video to hear the crew T-handle the engines to blast out all the excess fuel before shutting down.
