Visit: http://www.AircraftDisplayModels.com A visit to the Anthony Lawler airline display model collection. In this video clip Anthony presents the following models: Imperial Airways London Ensign and an Avro Tudor I that was most likely presented to Queen Elizabeth. At the end we see a 1/50 BOAC Douglas DC-7 in fabulous collection, which appears to be a Douglas Factory model. Both of the models are large scale and metal, made by the manufactures and are extremely rare. Henry Tenby of http://www.AircraftDisplayModels.com was fortunate enough to be hosted for an exclusive tour of the Anthony Lawler aircraft display model collection in May, 2013.

In the mid 1990s, most of the freight that passed through Coventry’s night-time freight hub was transported aboard vintage propliners, including Vickers Viscounts and at the time, the world’s last operational Vickers Vanguard. Henry Tenby captured this magic on video during several visits in 1995 and 1996. This AirlineHobby.com DVD program features ear-piercing Viscount and Vanguard action. We also go for a cockpit flight on the world’s last in-service Vickers Vanguard (Hunting Cargo’s G-APEP) from Liverpool to Belfast, as well as a day-time flight on British World Viscount G-BFZL from Belfast to Coventry, with footage from both the cabin and the flight-deck.

Western Airlines Boeing 720 in the old Indian Head livery arriving the Sea-Tac in 1972. One of only three JT3C turbojet powered 720s to wear Western's livery. These were aquired during the buy-out of Pacific Northern in 1967. Western sold these straight pipe 720s to Alaska in 1974.

This video is a tribute to the retirement WestJet's very last Boeing 737-200 aircraft on January 9, 2006. The company started operations in 1996 with just a few 737-200s and has grown to become Canada's second largest airline. Enjoy.
