Landing at Pyongyang Sunan International Airport (FNJ) onboard Tu-154B-2 registered as P-561 and operated by Air Koryo. The runway is far north of the airport complex, hence the slow reverse thrust engagement. The engines are Kuznetsov NK-8-2U with the distinctive secondary air inlet doors to provide additional air. Sorry for the reflections, there was no chance to avoid them. The landing was relatively soft although it looks like a hard impact, kudos to the Tupolev gear design built for rough field operations.

This morning I had the immense pleasure of spending some quality time at the airport to capture the Air North Boeing 737-200 departure operating a charter from the South Terminal. I had to pinch myself to make sure it was not a dream .. seeing active 737-200s in 2014 in Canada is a dream come true!

In the summer of 2010, Air North had two HS748s based at Vancouver's South Terminal operating fishing charters up the BC coast in support of local fishing resorts. Henry Tenby of AirlineHobby.com DVDs filmed the action throughout the summer and this DVD takes the view up close and person with Air North's fabulous HS748s. Filmed entirely at Vancouver Airport.
AirlineTV.net cameraman Henry Tenby filmed the departure of the Airbus A380 from R08R at Vancouver International Airport at 1030 am on October 17, 2007. The conditions were terrible. Low cloud base and light rain. The Airbus arrived from Bogota the evening of October 16, 2007 at 2000, and departed back to home base in France. Please excuse my cursing at the end of the clip as a panel van obstructs the view of the Airbus rotating. A real pain the back side.
