Sorry guys; no airplane audio on this one, but the visuals make up for it! Lot's of DC-7's, Connie's, DC-6's, etc. Some nice "Above the airport" aerial scenes too.

The Lockheed Constellation, affectionately known as the Connie was a four-engine propeller-driven airliner built by Lockheed between 1943 and 1958 at its Burbank, California facility. A total of 856 aircraft were produced in four models, all distinguished by a distinctive triple-tail design and graceful, dolphin-shaped fuselage. This video clip was filmed by German TV and documents the MATS Connie in the USA several years ago. Videographer not known. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lockheed_Constellation

ORDER DVD HERE: http://www.henrytenby.com/DVDs/MIAdvd.html In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Miami International Airport boasted the worlds largest collection of classic propliners and vintage Boeing 707 and DC-8 jetliners. Back then, Miami was the undisputed mecca for airliner photographers. Miami aviation slide shooter legend Eddy Gual luckily documented all the action on video. This DVD is a highlight of those now distant memories of when the classic props and jets called Miami home. This DVD serves up nearly two solid hours of nothing but classic propliner action, and classic heart-pounding 707 and DC-8 action.

On February 1, 1991, Yellowkife-based Air Canada Connector NWT Air operated Canada’s last passenger Lockheed L188 Electra scheduled service. Combi Electra C-FIJV operated the Yellowknife-Coppermine-Cambride-Coppermine-Yellowknife routing under the command of Captain John Sorenson and his crew. In this program, Henry Tenby takes us aboard the second to last final day of scheduled passenger Lockheed Electra services in Canada (January 30, 1991), also under the command of Captain John Sorenson. It was a typical arctic winter day. Mostly clear, with bitterly cold temperatures hovering at the minus 35 degrees C mark across the arctic. This trip is forever preserved in the NWT Air Electra DVD by AirlineHobby.com DVDs.
