The Bristol Brabazon was one of the largest aeroplanes of its day, and was developed as a passenger and troop transport to serve the British military and world airlines of the early 1950s. It was a remarkable achievement that was too expensive to operate to ever turn a profit, and sadly no more than the prototypes were ever built. This flight test footage includes the first flight and speaches by the crew of that historic day. This footage was sourced from newsreels from the late 40s and early 50s. A remarkable aeroplane indeed.
Captain Russ Piggott USAF Viper West 388FW/4FS/DEMO F-16 Demonstration Team visited the Abbotsford Airshow AUG 9-12 2007, and in this clip he is interviewed about his show by Henry Tenby and Alan Robertson of AirlineTV.net
AirlineTV.net cameraman Henry Tenby filmed the departure of the Airbus A380 from R08R at Vancouver International Airport at 1030 am on October 17, 2007. The conditions were terrible. Low cloud base and light rain. The Airbus arrived from Bogota the evening of October 16, 2007 at 2000, and departed back to home base in France. Please excuse my cursing at the end of the clip as a panel van obstructs the view of the Airbus rotating. A real pain the back side.
AirlineTV.net videographer Henry Tenby shot this footage of the Coulson Martin Mars C-FLYL Hawaii Mars during its water drop demonstration at Vancouver Harbour on January 19, 2008. At the controls were Captains Steven Wall and Bob Dyck. Watch for the upcoming DVD on the Martin Mars visit to Vancouver coming soon from AirlineHobby.com DVDs.
