This is a Delta Air Lines 757 painted in the old livery. This paint livery is very close to the classic one that was worn by Delta jets through the 1960's and 70's. I'm not sure what the paint scheme is officially called, but I liked it best of any other Delta has used. It is 2 paint schemes used before the current one seen today. recorded in 2007.
Delta Airlines opb Skywest CRJ landing at Vancouver on a summer July night around 8 pm. Filmed with my trust Sony TRV480 Digital 8 cam. Please excuse the crickets in the background but they were ignoring my request for quiet on the set.
Classic scenes from that classic film, here we have an ex-Delta CV-880 taxiing for the cameras for a movie. Listen to those GE CJ-805s! Judging by all the interior shots, this appears to have been filmed on board the genuine aircraft. Delta, along with TWA, retired their Convair Jets in 1974.
