Training flight onboard Air Atlantique Douglas DC-6A G-SIXC (cn 45550/1032) from Coventry airport. ( August 1996). The Air Atlantique Classic Flight has re-branded itself as ClassicFlight.com, but still retaining the Air Atlantique heritage by using the Air Atlantique name in its logo. It is the operational part of the Air Atlantique Group historic aircraft operation based at Coventry Airport in the United Kingdom. G-SIXC now sits in the weeds, For Sale, without props and awaits an uncertain future!

BUY THIS DVD HERE: http://www.henrytenby.com/DVDs/AirCanadaVangDC8.html When Trans-Canada Air Lines first took delivery of their Vanguards in the early 1960s, the company PR department filmed the inaugural Vanguard flights to Jamaica, Barbados and Bermuda in colour. This amazing footage includes plenty of onboard footage of the cabin services as well as passenger boardings and arrivals at the various airports. A summer of Expo '67 Air Canada Vanguard departure from Quebec City was also filmed in colour as was an early TCA Vanguard flight to and from Edmonton during a cold winter's day in early 1960s. These sound films are the most comprehensive period Vanguard films that have ever been presented on DVD, and they represent the entire film documentation of the Vanguard existing in the current Air Canada archives. Back in the mid 1960s, Air Canada's PR department also filmed some of the inaugural DC-8 jet services and those reels that remained in the archives are included in their entirety on this DVD. You'll see the first TCA DC-8 service to Dusseldorf, the first Air Canada DC-8 service from Miami to Toronto, a mid 1960s Air Canada DC-8 service to Frankfurt as well as other Air Canada DC-8 stock reels filmed at various European airports.

Newly-discharged from the RAF after World War II, Jack Ruskin, a blunt no-nonsense Yorkshireman, decides to set up his own airline, Ruskin Air Services. Something of an idealist, Jack is prepared to bend every rule in the book to achieve his goal of flying a Dakota once again. He soon does a deal with Ernie Cade, a notorious spiv who can lay his hands on any item of war surplus - for the right price - and then enlists Peter Witney as co-pilot and Jock McEvoy as maintenance engineer. But his long absences start to put a strain on his relationship with Jennie, his girlfriend
