An American Airlines DC-10 crash lands on the 405 freeway in LA in this fictional account of a guy in the wrong place at the wrong time. Probably the single most amazing aspect of 405 is that this film was not created by an army of special effects artists. It was not a project that took years to complete. And it did not cost a million dollars to create. In fact, 405 was created by just two people, in only three months, with the only expense being their time and personal home computers. Visit www.405themovie.com to see how film makers Bruce Branit and Jeremy Hunt made this amazing film.

BUY THIS DVD HERE: http://www.henrytenby.com/DVDs/AirCanadaVangDC8.html When Trans-Canada Air Lines first took delivery of their Vanguards in the early 1960s, the company PR department filmed the inaugural Vanguard flights to Jamaica, Barbados and Bermuda in colour. This amazing footage includes plenty of onboard footage of the cabin services as well as passenger boardings and arrivals at the various airports. A summer of Expo '67 Air Canada Vanguard departure from Quebec City was also filmed in colour as was an early TCA Vanguard flight to and from Edmonton during a cold winter's day in early 1960s. These sound films are the most comprehensive period Vanguard films that have ever been presented on DVD, and they represent the entire film documentation of the Vanguard existing in the current Air Canada archives. Back in the mid 1960s, Air Canada's PR department also filmed some of the inaugural DC-8 jet services and those reels that remained in the archives are included in their entirety on this DVD. You'll see the first TCA DC-8 service to Dusseldorf, the first Air Canada DC-8 service from Miami to Toronto, a mid 1960s Air Canada DC-8 service to Frankfurt as well as other Air Canada DC-8 stock reels filmed at various European airports.

Produced by French TV, this news report from Kinshasa explains the current state of the airline industry in the Congo. The Congo based airlines operate with patched up Russian built An-24s and IL-18s, or old 727s purchased out of the Mojave desert. The country lacks basic airline safety regulations: this news report shows people living under old aircraft hulks, people wandering around the aircraft operations area, and aircraft parts being sold without documentation and proper storage. It really is amazing to see how backwards the avaition scene in the Congo is today. The news report also features interviews Stavros Paparoannog, Director of Kinshasa based Hewa Bora Airways.
