Landing at Pyongyang Sunan International Airport (FNJ) onboard Tu-154B-2 registered as P-561 and operated by Air Koryo. The runway is far north of the airport complex, hence the slow reverse thrust engagement. The engines are Kuznetsov NK-8-2U with the distinctive secondary air inlet doors to provide additional air. Sorry for the reflections, there was no chance to avoid them. The landing was relatively soft although it looks like a hard impact, kudos to the Tupolev gear design built for rough field operations.

In this DVD, Daniel Frohriep takes us for exciting flights aboard Balkan IL-18 LZ-BEH, which was still in its former LOT Polish colours. On November 2, 1998, we join the crew and passengers for an exciting departure from Sofia to Budapest. The following day we join the crew for an early morning departure on a cargo haul from Budapest down to Algiers, hauling a load of chirping day old chicks. The cabin door is opened during the taxi in and the superb howl of her four Ivchenko turboprop engines is music to the ears! Visit AirlineHobby.com DVDs to buy this DVD.
