Videographers Henry Tenby and Anthony Hickey from AirlineHobby.com DVDs visited Honeywell's Boeing 720 flight test operation in Phoenix in early February, 2007. In this clip we anchored a Sony HVR-A1U HD cam to the cabin floor looking out the passenger wing during a touch and go at Williams Gateway airport, during crew training on February 6, 2007. Over 16 hours of SD and HD video footage was shot during the visit, which will be released by AirlineHobby.com DVDs during 2007 as a Honeywell 720 Tribute DVD. HD DVDs of this historic aircraft and unique operation will be released in due course. Honeywell's 720 is scheduled for retirement in late 2007.

Some very nice footage of various aircraft in service with the UN working out of isolated airstrips in the Congo and other locations in Central Africa. The star of the show is the white Caravelle freighter. The IL76 and AN12 actions is also rather impressive.

This video is a tribute to the retirement WestJet's very last Boeing 737-200 aircraft on January 9, 2006. The company started operations in 1996 with just a few 737-200s and has grown to become Canada's second largest airline. Enjoy.
