This was not an emergency landing, but a long prepared delivery flight.\r\nIlyushin Il-62 DDR-SEG was transfered from Berlin-Schoenefeld airport to the grass strip of Stoelln/Rhinow airfield by INTERFLUG's Capt Heinz-Dieter Kallbach and his crew on October 23th, 1989.\r\n\r\nA couple of weeks later, an INTERFLUG Ilyushin Il-18 was delivered to an aviation museum also requiring a landing on a grass strip.\r\n\r\nHowever this may be, off-airport landings of large airliners are always a spectacular sight.
